Salvador-Rojas Murillo

Salvador Rojas-Murillo has graduated in 2017. He is now an assistant professor at Hofstra University, NY.  His previous work experience includes a plant engineer position for VF Jeanswear (Lee/Wrangler) and a production supervisor role for Blinds to go in NJ. He also worked as a Professor for multiple Industrial Engineering courses in Business and Engineering for different Universities in Mexico.

Amirmasoud Momenipour

In my PhD program, I have been involved in a study on impact of information use/flow and documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) system on physicians’ workflow, and patient care.  I am also interested in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), especially in cognitive design factors, and usability of Audio-Visual, and Audio-Haptic technologies.  

 

Hamed Salehi

Hamed P. Salehi is a PhD student of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Iowa. He is also the vice president of HFES student chapter at the University of Iowa. His research focuses on cognitive aspects of troubleshooting, new technologies in healthcare, the use of infection protection equipment and Aviation safety.

Priyadarshini Pennathur

Priya Pennathur is a faculty in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at University of Iowa.  She received a doctoral degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University at Buffalo in 2010. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her research interests are in understanding cognitive artifacts and how humans create and use information in complex work systems.
